The cathedral was built between 1122 and 1159. At the time, it was the largest building in Scotland. During the church revolution in the 17th century, the cathedral was destroyed. In this way, many church buildings were destroyed in the United Kingdom. For us, the building can be connected with the Hussite Pavel Kravař, who was tried here and subsequently burned at the stake
