Glen Nevis is located on the far side of Glencoe. In addition to the beautiful valley in which the river Nevis flows, you can also see the highest mountain in Great Britain, Ben Nevis, as well as the popular Steall Waterfall, which can be reached via the Rope Bridge. The pearl west of Fort William is the Glenfinnan Viaduct Railroad Bridge, which is known from many movies. Especially from Harry Potter and became so popular that it's on a Scottish 10 pound bill. Then there is the Glenfinnan monument.

Bay

Sometimes it pays not to hurry, as in our case, and we drove the bay around the town of Kinlochleven.

Entrance to Glen Nevis

This is how Glen Nevis starts for us. Many people will ask why you didn't go to Ben Nevis. For us Czechs, it is an event for 8–10 hours and 9 out of 10 days the peak is not visible or it is raining here.
