Monumental Nanga Parbat (8 125 m asl) is a mountain with a number of nteresting facts. With its massif ends the highest mountain range of the world – Himalayas. Behind Indus, which passes by it, lies Karakoram to the north and Hindu Kush to the east. The mountain itself belongs, together with K2, among the most dangerous mountains in the world. Famous southern Rupal face  is 4.6 kilometers high. The surroundings is very interesting for hiking, but it unfortunately is not very secure part of Paksitan.
