The most beautiful historical city of Slovakia

Levoča is a relatively small town, roughly only 15,000 inhabitants, but it has a very valuable historical center. The most famous building is the church of St. Jacob in which there is a unique wooden Gothic altar – the highest in the world. Right next to the beautiful town hall. The square is surrounded by picturesque Renaissance houses
