Chojník Castle is one of the largest Polish castle ruins. It stands on top of the Chojnik hill of the same name (627 m). It belongs to the Karkonosze National Park, so when climbing it you will have to pay the entrance fee to both the national park and the castle itself. From the castle tower there is an absolutely impressive view of the Giant Mountains, the Jizera Mountains and other lower mountain ranges further north. Even the ascent to the castle is worth it – you will meet a whole range of rock formations.
