Belucha is the highest Altai peak with an altitude of 4 506 m above sea level. It is located on the Russian-Kazakhstan border and is part of the Katuň ridge. For ascent to the top you need permission to enter the border area and it is also advisable to have a guide. You will need to have the proper equipment for glacier
