The seven hundred meter long beach in Anaxos is one of the most beautiful on the island of Lesbos. It is mostly sandy, but in the sea you will also find a lot of pebbles, fortunately without a hedgehog. Its most famous landmark is a dummy windmill standing on a cliff at its north-eastern end. The beach has a nice view of the island and in the early evening there are beautiful sunsets.
