Ala-Too Square is considered the center of Bishkek. In the northern part of the square is the Historical Museum, the southern part of Ala-Too Square is full of fountains and flowers. The surrounding buildings evoke the architecture of the Silk Road, but there is a lack of history to some greater charm.
