Georgia Sightseeing

Georgia is literally riddled with various churches and monasteries (eg in the cities of Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Stepansminda, Kutaisi, etc.), which have not changed their appearance since the 4th century. Their architecture may begin to merge somewhat over time … Many medieval castles (Telavi, Tbilisi, etc.) are also worth seeing, or rock towns (Vardzia, Uplistsikhe).
Cities
Definitely great is Tbilisi with its thermal baths, Mtskheta, which has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to beautiful churches, or Stepantsminda, enclosed by the Caucasus in sight of Kazbek, the third highest mountain in Georgia.

Bridges
Interesting is the modern „bridge of peace“ over the river Kura right in the center of Tbilisi, whose architect is the Italian Michele de Lucchi and whom the locals call nothing but „Always Ultra“ :-)
