Like a dragon's back, the mythical Great Wall of China stretches across the landscape of northern China. How long is the Great Wall of China? The Chinese would tell you that it is infinite. In Chinese, they also call it wan-li-chang-cheng, or „ten thousand miles long wall.“ The term „ten thousand“ traditionally refers to something immeasurable, innumerable, infinite. There are many places where you can see or walk on the wall. However, I visited those sections that are outside the main tourist area. And it's definitely worth it.
Transport
** Jinshanling **: Direct line from Wanjjing West Subway Station ** Gubeikou **: from Dongzhimen Station by bus no.980 to Miyun Station, then bus no.25 to Gubeikou Admission: no :) There is an official entrance with a cable car in Jinshanling up, however, you don't have to go through it.
