The capital of Ukraine
Kiev one of the oldest cities in Europe at present, the capital of Ukraine is interesting especially in terms of history, the whole city is full of beautiful buildings and especially churches that dominate the city. For the visitor, however, they also bring several monuments and museums from the period of socialism, which are interesting especially for their monumentality. The advantage of Kiev is also that it is one of the cheaper capitals within Europe.
Kiev Fortress
The fortress served to defend the city during the 16th – 17th century, and today it is largely turned into a hospital. Admission to the fortress is 1 hryvnia, but it is not a problem to go there without paying the entrance fee, because there moves a large number of locals. The fortress overlooks the Olimpiysky National Sports Complex.
Zoloti Vorota
The Golden Gate was one of the most important parts of the fortifications during the Mongol invasions of Kiev, and it is currently the last preserved part of the fortifications.

The square in front of the famous Sofia Cathedral is surrounded by historic buildings.

The statue is located in the square in front of the Church of St. Sophia and in the background behind it is the equally famous Church of St. Michael.

Kiev-Pechersk Lavra
One of the largest temple complexes in the center of Kiev, which is known for its large number of historic buildings with a dominant cathedral, but also a cave complex of corridors and a museum of miniatures.
Aviation Museum
The Aviation Museum contains a large number of specimens of aircraft, mostly of Ukrainian or Soviet production, with military aircraft being the dominant feature, but the biggest attraction is the largest helicopter in the world.
