A small town full of deer
Mammoth Hot Springs is divided into two parts, Fort Yellowstone and the Concession District. Fort Yellowstone is carefully arranged from significant buildings that clearly indicate their military origins. The US Army was here until 1918. The concession district contrasts with the military district with a less formal layout and style. It includes the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and dining room, gas station and retail outlets. Above the town is a complex of thermal springs that form travertines. These have been created here for thousands of years.

I'm 2–3 meters from them. It's unbelievable how wildlife literally stood at our door. I experienced one unique thing across the states. The game is not shy and it does not matter which species. The experience of seeing such game move. In addition, this town was built on a territory where deer used to graze and somehow never gave up.
