Hike to BC K2

The trek to BC K2 itself begins in Concordia, a famous base for trekkers. On all sides it is possible to see the beautiful peaks of the mountains, many of which are a bit forgotten by climbers. Miter Peak rises as painted at the camp. This will serve us as an excellent point on the way back.

From Concordia we continue to the left of Gasherbrum 4 towards Broadpeak, another attraction for climbers.

Here we can see the intersection of the two Baltoro and Godwin-Austen glaciers.

On the opposite side towards Broadpeak we can see Marble peak 6256m

Broadpeak BC is the most easily accessible BC from Concordia. Here it is possible to stop and watch the climbers in the wall.

On the way to BC, make a detour to the K2 Memorial, a memorial to all climbers who did not climb to the top of K2 or Broadpeak. There are parts of the equipment, commemorative plaques.
