Other Sights

Petr Liška Wrote 30.12.2015:

Seville and its surroundings are like made for lovers of monuments. Right in Seville is the beautiful cathedral, the royal palace in the Arabian style, the famous bullring and the vast old town. In Carmona you will again see a huge castle and a number of churches without crowds of tourists. In Ecija, the most famous monument is a huge church tower, similar to the Seville Giralda. Alcala de Guadaira has a huge fortress.

Religious buildings

Petr Liška Wrote 30.12.2015:

With the predominance of the most important church building in Seville, or the whole of Andalusia, is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, the Virgin Mary. Overall, it is the third largest, regardless of architectural style, after the basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican and the relatively new basilica of the National Shrine of the Virgin Mary in Aparecida, Brazil. Apart from this cathedral, there are, of course, a number of other interesting churches, such as St. Louise, St. Salvador.
