Classic Itineraries
The classic trip to Los Glaciares begins in the capital of the El Calafate region, where there is not much to see. You can head to the adjacent Nimez Lagoon to watch the flamingos. From here, head to the main attraction – the amazing Perito Moreno Glacier. You can also take a boat trip from here and be even closer to the glaciers. Then continue to El Chalten to the amazing Fitz Roy Massif. You will also see it directly from the city, but for better views you will have to miss something.

- ** The Great Journey of Patagonia: ** Los Glaciares National Park is in virtually all itineraries when traveling to Patagonia. If you are traveling from Tierra del Fuego, the previous stop was another amazing Torres del Paine park in Chile. From here, you can continue north on the iconic Ruta40 road to Lake Buenos Aires.
