Tourism is definitely not the main thing that will bring you to the island. A dusty road also leads to the highest mountain on the island of Profitis Ilias. If you consider walking to the churches or to the cliffs above the individual beaches, there is perhaps the only official hike leading through the southwestern tip of the island to the beach Kleftiko (The turn is from a dirt road)
