From the capital, where the biggest attraction is the Zocalo and the Archaeological Museum, head north to the huge Aztec pyramids of Tehotihuacan. A short distance away is Tula with his Atlanta. In the south you will be interested in the „silver“ colonial city of Taxco. Head east, first take a trip to Paso de Cortez below the Popocatepetl volcano, and finally explore the beauty of Puebla and the remains of the gigantic pyramid at Cholula.
