The Lusatian Mountains, a region of dozens of extinct Tertiary volcanoes, is a bit neglected by tourists, yet it has a lot to offer. You can see here beautiful panoramas of volcanic cones, sandstone rocks and basalt formations, distinctive folk architecture and remnants of war fortifications in deep forests. The whole area belongs to the Lusatian Mountains PLA.
