There are a number of nice beaches on the island, although they do not reach the fame of the most famous on other islands. Everything is caused by volcanic sand – gray, black and reddish, which is not as photogenic as white sand or light small pebbles.

Thermal baths, pools and springs
Thanks to volcanic activity, you will also find several thermal springs known on ancient islands. The most famous are those in Eftalou in the north of the island. However, if you do not want to be treated with this natural force (suitable for rheumatism, digestive problems, skin), then in the hot Greek summer it may not even entice you to climb into the boiling water of the local springs.
