Pokalde (5,806 m above sea level), located less than three hundred meters above the Kongma la pass, is one of the easiest trekking hills in the Khumbu area. Officially, it requires a permit, but thanks to the fact that it is basically a one-day climb, no one will check you here. From the top there is a beautiful view of Lhotse, Makala, but also Cho Oyu, Amadablam or the beautiful pyramid of Cholatse.
