The largest Greek port for both industry and transport is the Athenian Piteaus, which is easily accessible by local transport – about 30 minutes from the center of Athens. From the port you can take a ferry to other Greek mostly tourist islands or to Italian Sicily. But if you are expecting romantic promenades and shops, you will probably be a little disappointed.
