The Lóndrangar rock pillars, located on the Snæfellnes peninsula in western Iceland, rise from the sea just behind the Malarrif lighthouse. The more powerful of the two pillars reaches a height of 75 m and is called the Christian pillar, its smaller neighbor is called a pagan pillar. Both are remnants of a basalt cone that once stood here.
