Heimskautsgerðið (Artic Henge) is a stone building near Raufarhöfn, the northernmost settlement in Iceland. Building on Icelandic and Norwegian mythology, the construction began in 1996. It is a kind of newly built monument for the pagan worshipers of Asatru and will serve as a huge sundial and solar calendar upon completion. The bases are basalt columns, forming four large gates, corresponding to four seasons and the fifth gate in the middle.
