The glacied Gondogoro Pass culminates in the trek of the same name in the interior of the Vysoký Karákorám Mountains. This pass is no longer a tourist passport, but thanks to the fixed ropes you can overcome it in good weather even without cats with an ice ax. It is a crucial place to decide whether to cross the entire trek from Askole to Hush over the Baltoro Glacier or to have to return the same way in case of failure. From the relatively flat saddle there is a nice view of the Gaherbrum ridge and the second largest mountain in the world K2. The most beautiful view, on the other hand, is at the impressive peak of Laila peak.
