Höfði, a small grove on the southern shore of Lake Mývan, is one of the most beautiful parts of the whole area. Stack-like formations (dragon stones) and small islands jutting out of the crystal clear water attract birds and the coast is lined with meadows full of flowers and birches. Ice divers, small divers and Icelandic woodpeckers nest here.
