As with almost every desert state, the best time to visit is spring and autumn, when the weather is nice and it is not as hot as summer. In addition, in the spring you can sometimes see blooming flowers in the desert. It can be ugly in winter.

In spring, flowers bloom, often in the semi-deserts. The temperatures are pleasant – an ideal time for hiking.

Overcrowding
Tourist mass is very variable according to the locality. In Petra, count on the crowds in every season. In the relatively large desert of Wadi Rum, it is much more pleasant and in the lesser-known, but still beautiful canyons, you will meet almost no one else.
