Earthquake: The most famous natural hazard you may encounter in Indonesia is an earthquake. The most common epicenters are located near the island of Sumatra. The last significant earthquake is from March 2, 2016 with a magnitude of about 8.
Diseases and health problems
Mosquito diseases are mainly dangerous for tourists. These include Denge, Malaria and Japanese Encephalitis. It is therefore absolutely necessary to protect yourself against these insects with various repellents and mosquito nets.
