Trip to Natadola beach
The most famous beach on Viti Levu
Halfway between Nadi and Sigatoka is perhaps the most famous beach on the island of Viti Levu – Natadola beach. From the time when a huge resort has been built here it lost a bit of its romance, but even so there is still a wonderful swimming and it is definitely worth a visit.

Getting to Natadola is not very difficult. You can get there by taxi or significantly cheaper option is to get into a relatively frequent bus running between Nadi and Sigatoka and get off at the crossroads. It's then still about a kilometer to the water. Unfortunately most of the coastline is occupied by the resort, but the beach is fortunately public.
Sandy islets
The deeper passages are followed with small sandy islands, where you can relax.

Right at the beach there is a small islet, where you can swim (the current is not very strong).

For someone pleasant, for others not – there's a lot of really persistent offerers of horse riding along the beach.
