Way to the lake Tilicho has a dangerous stretch, just before Tilicho BC. The journey here traverses scree slopes and in case of danger of slipping several hundred-foot fall into the abyss.

Trek to Tilicho lake is relatively easy, if we are not counting a one challenging section and the threat of mountain sickness from high altitude.
