Beautiful temple in sight of the Golden Mountain
Basically in sight of the Golden Mountain with the famous Wat Saket temple lies the lesser known but very nice temple Wat Ratchanatdaram. Due to the fact that it is not a classic tourist destination, there is no entrance fee and it is freely available. It is interesting mainly because it is architecturally completely different from other temples in Bangkok
Ratchadamnoen Klang Road
The temple is located at the very northeastern end of downtown Bangkok, surrounded by multi-lane streets
Mahakan Fort
Just across the street from the temple is the rest of Bangkok's old fortifications – Mahakan Fort

Although you are on a tour of Wat Ratchanatdaram, you can almost always see Wat Saket on the Golden Mountain

Loha Prasat
The temple is also called Loha Prasat, which means something like an iron castle

If you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, head to the park south of Mahakan Fort after the tour.
Phanfa Bridge
If you want to continue on the Golden Mountain you have to cross the Phanfa Bridge. There is also a boat stop right next to it, so you can move somewhere even on the water
