A trip to the aquarium in Bangkok
One of the best aquariums in the world
Bangkok is not only magnificent Buddhist temples, but you will also find one of the most interesting aquariums in the world. In the basement of one of the shopping centers is Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World (originally called Siam Ocean World) or just Bangkok Aquarium. You will find an incredible amount of fish here, including dozens of sharks
Road to the Aquarium
Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World is located about 5 kilometers east of Bangkok’s historic center on the lower floors of the giant Siam Paragon Shopping Mall (one of the largest in Thailand). You can get here either by taxi or subway to Siam Station. Expect an expensive entrance fee – the basic entrance fee is 981 B. After entering, you will find one beautiful aquarium after another. Giant crabs, then lionfish, will captivate you right from the start.
