A small town with a magnificent Renaissance castle

If you ever take the road No. 50 from Brno to Trenčín, be sure to make at least a short stop in Bučovice, where there is a magnificent Renaissance castle.
Freedom Square in Bucovice
The center of Bučovice is the Freedom Square with the statue of St. Florian. To the north of the square is the Baroque Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary

Fountain in the park
From the square we move to the fountain in a small park, from where there is already a nice view of the most important local monument.

Castle Garden
We go to the castle garden, where there are several fountains. With a little imagination, this castle will remind you a bit of the equally regular Bratislava Castle

The most famous view of Bučovice chateau
From the central fountain is the most famous view of the castle

Farewell to the lock
The castle garden itself is surrounded by a high wall. After a tour of the castle garden, we can set out on another journey, because you will not find anything else in Bučovice.
