Or Menorca's longest beach

Platja de Son Bou is located near the resort of the same name on the south side of the island. With its length of over 2 kilometers, it is Menorca's largest beach.

Access to the beach
A few tens of meters from the beach there is a large parking lot, from which a wooden walkway leads directly to the beach.
Wetlands
The beach is surrounded by wetlands. So we can see or at least hear a lot of waterfowl here.

Finally the beach
The Son Bou beach itself then has really respectable dimensions.

Beach and people
Despite the fact that this is a very popular beach, due to its size, many people will get lost here. In the part of the beach, you can use already placed sunbeds with umbrellas. However, if you have your own equipment, it's no problem to make your own camp here without being surrounded by people from all sides.

Water purity
We rated Son Bou beach as one of the most beautiful beaches in Menorca. The water here is wonderfully clean, transparent. The entry into the water is very gradual and the water temperature is unusually high. Just be careful, in the shallower water there are small fish that nibble your feet :)
