The last contribution from the castle grounds in Kynžvart – Kynžvart's journey V. Chapel of St. The cross was built in 1835 in the pseudo-Gothic style.

The chapel is located on the left side of the castle in the woods. Hence the folk name of the forest chapel. The chapel is all wooden and was built between natural stone blocks.

The chapel is freely accessible. You can sit on wooden benches and meditate or pray in peace. The chapel is located outside the tourist route. For a large number of tourists, this unique building remains completely hidden among the trees and thus retains its amazing intimacy and inviolability.
