Walk along Via Regia in Wroclaw
Via Regia is a famous pilgrimage (formerly trade) route leading to Santiago de Compostela. In Wroclaw, you can walk from the beautiful Market Square to another tourist magnet of the city – Tumski Island. Along the way you will pass a number of interesting churches.

From the Market Square, we head east along Via Regia and after a while we come across a large church. Mary Magdalene. Here is the famous viewpoint from the Pokutnice bridge. From here we will continue along the tram tracks along Szewska Street
St. Matthew's Church in Wroclaw
Via Regia will then take us to Bishop Nankier's Plac, where there are a number of churches. The first is the Church of St. Matthew
Church of Saints Hedwig and Klara
Next door is the Church of Saints Hedvika and Klara
Cathedral of St. Vincent and St. James
The third and most important and most beautiful of the churches is the Cathedral of St. Vincent and St. James.
Targowa Hall in Wroclaw
Before we cross the bridge to the other side of the river, we can see another important building of the city – Targow Hall

In front of us rises the Church of the Virgin Mary, from where the tour of the Tumski Island begins
A walk through the islands
After a tour of Tum Island, go for a walk on the islands to the west. You will find several bridges, nice views of the city and several options for refreshments.
