- Although all hikes from El Chalten walk through National park Glaciares, but there is neither entrance fee collected in El Chalten nor any permits are necessary.
- On the way to the glacier Perito Moreno charge entry, paradoxically.. Entry fee for season 2015/2016 is AR $ 260
