There are only a minimum of roads in the whole area, but the ones that lead here are practically all picturesque. Route 40: the main artery of the whole area overlooking the Andes ridge on the horizon. Nice is the section between El Calafate and El Chalten, where there are views of the largest lakes in Argentina.
