Lesbos is famous for its sardines from the Gulf of Kallon. There is also very high quality olive oil (in local supermarkets, be sure to buy local olives, the difference in taste compared to the industrially packaged ones that you get at home is quite often abysmal). There is also a very tasty cheese from sheep's milk Ladoryti.

Alcoholic beverages: Lesbos is famous for its high-quality Ouz (brandy flavored with anise (star anise) or fennel). You can also find local cheap cask wine in the supermarkets.
