- Compared with other Canary Islands, La Palma has limited accommodation capacity. Therefore, there are fewer tourists, which can be very pleasant. When compared for example with Tenerife, it is a very quiet island, even in the summer.
- The main trekking season is from autumn to spring. But summer months are convenient as well, because the temperatures are still very pleasant, around 24 to 26 degrees. It is possible that snow will be falling in the highest parts of the mountains in winter.
