Visegrad hills One of the most beautiful Hungarian protected areas is the Dunaj-Ipeľ National Park (Duna–Ipoly Nemzeti Park in Hungarian). It is located on both sides of the Danube to the east of the beautiful city of Esztergom. The national park itself includes three different mountain ranges: Pilišské vrchy, Vyšehradské vrchy and Börzsöny mountain range. In the national park you will find a number of hiking trails. Here you will find beautiful beech forests, strange rock formations and nice views of the Danube
