Al Bustan is quite an interesting location. On the one hand, there is a sleepy fishing village and a long beach, but also a set of gigantic government buildings and a lonely huge 5 * hotel Al Bustan Palace. If you have a trip around, it is definitely worth taking a short break or spending the day by the water

From the main coastal road, just descend to the village of Al Bustan and after a few tens of meters you are on the beach, where there is practically no foot, except for a few fishermen.

Along the beach, head to the rocks separating this huge bay from the other huge further south

When you return to the main roads after swimming and drive on, you will see the monumental Omani Parliament building with its distinctive clock tower.
