This secured route with D / E difficulty will offer you more than 2 hours of air climbing at 360 altitude meters. It is a very demanding ferrate, which, however, is geographically beautiful and rich in natural scenery due to its location. You can complete the journey by climbing the 2084m high Kaiserschild with a view of the whole Eisenerz and the surrounding Alps.

Kaiserschild Klettersteig - boarding

D / E, 360 altitude meters, about 2 hours of climbing

In Eisenerz, turn onto Ramsau / Tull and reach the free car park at the Gemeindealm. The disadvantage of this ferrate is the long, about 2 hours onset of a fairly steep climb. Therefore, it is recommended to plan it as a full day tour. We arrive at 10.00 and find the last free space in the crowded parking lot.

Parking at the Gemeindealm, we look forward to your afternoon visit

To get on, we still have to overcome a lot of altitude meters. The whole boarding takes almost 2 hours.

Then we cross back through Eisenerz to the lake, where we leave the car in the first parking lot as far as possible from the lake, where accommodation is tolerated and we go to try the local beaches and water temperature.

Bathed and satisfied, we are one of the last to go to the Millionstar Hotel and look forward to tomorrow's Kaiser-Franz-Joseph.
