Natural disasters

Petr Liška Wrote 13.10.2015:

Volcanic eruptions: the whole area is very volcanically active. Hiking trails lead in close proximity to potential eruptions. The last major eruption took place here on August 6, 2012 in the Tongariro volcano massif. You can find out the current state of volcanic activity on the geonet's website, see Interesting links. Avalanches: In winter or after a large snowfall, there is a danger of avalanches. Check the current situation in the avalanche center, see. links
