Rarotonga Weather and season

- Any time of the year is suitable for visit. It is warm and sunny all year round. But the main season is from December to February (especially in December) and low season from April to August.
- Cook Islands are not so frequented as for example Tahiti or Fiji, so there are not any crowds of tourists. Most tourists want to stay in Rarotonga or Aitutaki and 60% of population lives in Rarotonga. But accommodation facilities are booked in advance in Rarotonga and camping makes no sense here, so the number of tourists is also a bit limited. More people are usually around the Muri lagoon in Rarotonga.
