They want there:

If you consider combining a trip around Datça peninsula with nice swimming, the ideal swimming stop is one of the many bays near the town Mesudiye. It is better to stop not at major kilometer-long beach Ova Buku, but at neighboring eastern bay, which is divided into two beaches by a rocky promontory – Hayit buku and Kızılbük. There is a relaxed atmosphere, surrounding buildings are low and tourists are mainly local.

There are three roads leading to Mesudiye – two of them are turnings from the main road leading around the peninsula of Datca in the hill slope and the third is the coastal road leading from the village Yakaköy. There are signs leading you to the beaches, so you should find the way easily. Beach Hayit buku has two parts – eastern quiet and western one with a few restaurants and hotels.

Small harbor

Even from here you can undertake popular boat trip to the surrounding coves and beaches.

Mountain panorama

There are nice mountain sceneries visible directly from the sea.

View of Kızılbük

Behind the rocky headland on the other side of the cove is visible Kızılbük beach, which is surrounded by arid red-colored rocky slope. There is even greater peace than here.

The eastern end of Hayit buku

The eastern end of the beach is the nicest – no chairs and people and a beautiful view of the other end of the bay as a bonus. On the horizon you can see a small military watchtower.

If you want to look to the other side of the bay, you must either ascent or drive the dusty road to the headland. You will be rewarded with a nice romantic view of the whole beach during the ascent.

Kızılbük

There is also a nice view of the peaceful beach Kızılbük from the headland. No wonder that locals often seek this place – it is far more romantic compared to overcrowded Marmaris.
