Travelling by bus

- Most of the tourists come to Skardu on the ground along the Karakoram Highway through Gilgit.
Transport by off-road car

- From Skardu it is several bumping hours in jeep until Askole, which is the official gateway of the area. Only a few years ago, the small road was long from Askole and trek was much longer.
- It is five days walk from Askole to Concordia. And then the next at least three days across the Gondogoro la pass to Hushe, which is an alternative entry to the area. It is also a few hours lasting drive by jeep from Skardu.
