Place Skazka Canyon

This canyon is a smaller version of the famous American Grand Canyon. The atypical rock formations, colorful ravines and valleys are so beautiful that this place is fast becoming a new, well-hidden, „treasure“ of Kyrgyzstan. It is located near the town of Tosor (south of Lake Issyk Kul) and the signage is really bad. The best way to get here is with the help of the locals, although they also don't always know what is around the corner of their town. I recommend combining the visit with a sunset so that the colors get the right shade.
