Jordan Safety
Do you have anything to say about this? Don't hesitate and write your information and experience to help other travelers.
Jordan is such an island of stability vis-à-vis its neighbors. Unfortunately, thanks to the war-torn states beyond its borders – Syria and Iraq – many tourists are afraid to come here at all. Mainly for „what if“ reasons.
Dangerous people
Terrorists: fortunately, it is spared massive violence against its neighbors, but even here there can be a single attack. The most significant horrific event happened in 2005, when terrorists attacked luxury hotels in Amman and killed a total of over 60 people. The paradox is that most of the victims of this attack were Jordanian Muslims. In any case, when visiting your visit, be sure to skip the areas near the borders with Syria and Iraq.
Diseases and health problems
Sunburn and sunburn: during the summer months, when the temperature often climbs over 40 degrees Celsius, do not underestimate the drinking regime and headgear. At noon you should hold a siesta with the locals and be hidden in the shade.
