View from The Face Platinum Suites
The most beautiful view of Kuala Lumpur
Probably the best view in all of Kuala Lumpur at the moment is the 231 meter high tower The Face Platinum Suites. Right in front of you are the skyscrapers around the famous Petronas Tower. You can also see to the north the forest surrounding the city and the new tallest skyscrapers further south. In addition, as a bonus, there is a beautiful swimming pool. Surprisingly, accommodation here is not expensive at all, so the price / performance here is absolutely great. Just don't forget that there are two towers, each with its own pool, without the possibility of walking between them.
The Face Platinum Suites from below
From below you can see the two towers, which look like they are connected to each other, but they are not, they are two independent units, each with its own reception. We tested both and the slightly taller tower on the right is better and more modern. Anyway, the interesting thing is that with its 231 meters it still fits into the first thousand tallest buildings in the world
View of Petronas over the pool
The viewing platform on the higher tower has an L-shaped pool. The most popular view is of course the Petronas Tower. The pool only closes in the evening, so you can try it during different parts of the day.

In the southern direction, there is a view of the „old“ landmark of the city – a transmitter and an observation tower in one – Menara Kuala Lumpur and far behind it, currently the second tallest building in the world, Merdeka 118
Southeast direction
In the southeast direction, there is essentially a „forest“ of less significant skyscrapers. The area of Kuala Lumpur is really huge. Even from this height, you can't see all the way to the end in this direction.

The northern panorama is beautiful as you can also see the jungle covered hills on the horizon. You can see neighborhoods of low houses, which from time to time are bought by a developer and a tower is built instead of the entire neighborhood.

The pool is L-shaped. A small part is under the roof. There are free sunbeds around.
Evening atmosphere
Some of the skyscrapers change their lighting during the night, so the views are a little different every time. The second tallest skyscraper in the world still looks like a dark tower, it has only recently been completed – we will see how it will look in the coming years.

We also tried the second tower, but the weather was not so favorable here. The view of Petronas is not so good from the second tower, it is partially covered by the newer, slightly higher tower, where the swimming pool is also about 2 floors higher
Thunderstorm passing over Kuala Lumpur
Swimming is prohibited in the rain, but you can be on the terrace. Despite the ugly weather, the view was also interesting.
Night view
The night view was already great. You could even see the local football stadium where a match was taking place.
