Trip to Petani beach

You will come across a tavern right at the turnoff to Petani beach. Then you are already waiting for you to go down the mountain road towards the beach. Along the way, you will have such a beautiful view of the beach.

From the beach there is a beautiful view of the cliffs closing the southern part of the bay. Directly below the big cliff lies another beautiful beach, Agia Elene.

If you want some privacy, head to the northern end of Petani Beach. First you will reach another tavern, in front of which there are also a number of umbrellas. It is not surprising that there is practically no one here, it is the worst part of the beach with a stone shelf right from the shore. Then there is a small harbor and behind it are the beautiful little bays.

A smaller rock is the isolated northern end of Petani beach, which has great charm even in the fact that there are very few people

The very northern end is such a Kefalonian fairy tale – tiny whitish pebbles and azure blue sea.

Looking back, it is nice to see how this northern part is separated and distant from the frequented central part of the beach. On the hill high above the beach is the luxurious Santa Thekla Peninsula resort with a truly luxurious view of this beach.

We return back to the central part of the beach, where there are countless umbrellas and sunbeds. An ideal place to relax.
